In conjunction with the 11th annual LA Beer Week (June 15th - 23rd), The Waterfront Venice and LA Ale Works have teamed for a cause close to both our hearts. It's no secret that both WF and LAAW both love our canine companions and there's plenty of dogs out there needing a little extra work, care, and love. These dogs with problems ranging from age limits to temperament issues often get overlooked. That's where A Purposeful Rescue enters the scene. The LA based rescue specials in the forgotten one's. In fact they champion them!
On Thursday, June 20th from 5pm to 8pm, Waterfront is hosting the crew from LA Ale Works for a summer sampling of some of LAAW most popular brews. The quality and attention to ingredients that LAAW prides themselves on has helped establish them as one of the more sought after LA breweries currently pushing the bar. Join us for a sampling of Nordic Lights Summer Ale off the state-of-the-art glycol-cooled draft system or hit the Craft Can Shack in the beer garden for a selection of "Palmera Pils" Jasmine Rice Pilsner, "Lunar Kitten" West Coast IPA, and "Lazy Star" Juicy Hazy IPA cans on ice.
A dollar from every beer purchased will go directly to the barkers over at A Purposeful Rescue so you know you drink not only in good taste but in good spirit as well.
The Waterfront is located at 205 Ocean Front Walk on the boardwalk in Venice Beach. There's paid beach parking in the front, valet in the back of restaurant, or bike racks and those scooter things on option.
